The World Walks for Water & Sanitation
"The World Walks for Water and Sanitation is a global event demanding action to address the world's largest crisis - water and sanitation.
Millions of people walk great distances each day to collect water. Billions have no safe place to go to the toilet and are forced to walk into fields to defecate, risking assault and compromising their dignity. Unsafe drinking water and poor sanitation means children have to miss school and are dying needlessly from disease caused by contaminated water. Ending the water and sanitation crisis would help break the poverty cycle, would increase school attendance, and save lives.
From 17-25 March 2012, thousands of people across the globe will walk together to demand political change. The walks will take place around World Water Day, 22 March."

Anjali Appadurai, UN Climate Change Conference
"A number of protests are being held today at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Durban to protest the failure of world leaders to agree to immediately agree to a deal of binding emissions cuts. Anjali Appadurai, a student at the College of the Atlantic in Maine, addressed the conference on behalf of youth delegates. Just after her speech, she led a mic-check from the stage - a move inspired by the Occupy Wall Street protests. "It always seems impossible until it's done. So, distinguished delegates and governments around the world, governments of the developed world: Deep cuts now. Get it done," Appadurai says.

Back to the start
Sustainability is one of our main worries today (or at least it should be). It's time to rethink our actions, learn with our mistakes and change for the better.

Our planet seen from the International Space Station
This is a video suggestion I got from National Geographic. It's a " time-lapse flyover made with NASA photos taken 240 miles above Earth from the International Space Station.". Once more: our planet is really beautiful!
