Of course. It's like the 1st baby of the year. Every family wants its own. The choice by the UN of a baby from Manila,Philippines was symbolic. Who knows for sure which baby is the 7 billionth? And who knows exactly when that mark was or will be reached? Anyway, population is increasing and that increase means more strain for our planet's resources. We need to learn how to feed and provide a good life for the whole population and at the same time guarantee sustainability. That's the real challenge, not to hit record numbers.
